To complete such an emotional and challenging walk, all in honour of Hunter and to raise money for such an amazing charity, is something truly special.

The father of a baby boy who was born with a congenital heart condition has walked 80 miles in three days, to raise funds for the charity Heart Link.
Luke Wright took on the challenge in memory of his son Hunter, who sadly died at the age of five days due to a condition called transposition of the great arteries.
On the first day of his walk, Luke travelled from the Royal Derby Hospital to the cardiac paediatric intensive care unit (CPICU) at the Leicester Royal Infirmary, following Hunter’s journey after he was transferred to CPICU for specialist surgery.
Heart Link helps to fund facilities at CPICU, including parent lounges, playrooms, and parent bedrooms - spaces that bring comfort and support when families need it most.
Luke said: “The support of Heart Link meant so much to us during the most difficult time of our lives. In honour of Hunter, we want to give back and help other families facing similar journeys to ours.”
Graeme Williams, Vice-Chair of Heart Link, said: “Heart Link wants Luke's family to know that our thoughts and deepest support are with them. No family should ever have to face such pain, and yet the strength, love, and courage they have shown following the loss of baby Hunter are nothing short of extraordinary.”
Bereavement Support Nurse, Emma Scott, said: "The Wright family have shown such courage and strength throughout their journey with Hunter. We can't thank them enough for their continued support of Heart Link and all the colleagues across the children's cardiac units."
