Hunter’s Journey — COMPLETE ❤️

Day 3 done and the journey is complete. What an incredible achievement!

Day 3 — the final stretch ❤️

Today is the last day of Hunter’s Journey!

The team are making their way from Lenton Co-op Funeralcare to Long Eaton Co-op Funeralcare and finally to Springfield Hall. 🧸

After every mile, every ache, and every emotional moment over the last few days, they are so close to the finish line now.

Day 2 update ❤️

The team are on the way and smashing it so far — around 9 miles done with 18 miles still to go! 💪🧸

Today they stopped at Birstall Methodist Church where they met the lovely Kim, Ivan, and the ladies for coffee and cake. Thank you so much for your kindness, support, and the beautiful prayer you did for us. 🩵

Day 2 of Hunter’s Journey ❤️

Today the team are walking from Leicester Royal Infirmary to Lenton Co-op Funeralcare — continuing the journey in memory of our beautiful boy, Hunter. 🩵

Yesterday tested everyone physically and emotionally, but they pushed through and made it to Leicester. Today we go again.

Day 1 complete — the team made it to Leicester! ❤️

What an emotional and challenging day, but the team pushed through and completed the first part of Hunter’s Journey from Royal Derby Hospital to Leicester Royal Infirmary.

Unfortunately, we’ve had one woman down due to injury, but we are so proud of everyone for keeping going and doing this in Hunter’s memory. 🧸

Hunter’s Journey is officially underway!

Today they begin the walk from Royal Derby Hospital to Leicester Royal Infirmary.

3 hours in so far and still going strong 💪🧸 Miles the bear is coming along every step of the way too.

1 day to go… ❤️

Tomorrow marks the start of Hunter’s Journey. Hunter’s dad and close friends will be completing the same journey Hunter did during his short time with us, all to raise money for Heart Link Children’s Charity, who supported us while Hunter was at Leicester Royal Infirmary.

When Hunter was transported from Derby to Leicester by the CenTre Neonatal Transport Team, he was given a little bear called Miles — the same bear in the picture. 🧸 Tomorrow, Miles will be completing the journey too, attached to Hunter’s dad’s bag every step of the way.

This has been the most traumatic and heartbreaking time for us as Hunter’s parents, and we will forever be grateful to everyone who has supported us, loved us, and stood beside us through it all.

At midnight last night, Hunter’s Nanny and Grandad completed the Reverse London Marathon 2026 — an incredible achievement in honour of our beautiful boy.

Hunter, our precious son, passed away at just 5 days old from TGA. During that unimaginable time, Heart Link Children’s Charity supported us.

To give something back and raise awareness, Hunter’s Nanny and Grandad took on this challenge with love and determination. Together, they have raised over £900 in Hunter’s name to support other families who need that same care and support.

We are so proud, so thankful, and so emotional seeing Hunter’s legacy live on in such a meaningful way.
