Our new report, ‘The Tipping Point’, found that 47% of unpaid carers were considering reducing their working hours or giving up work entirely.

With reliable social care and better workplace support, that can change.

Do you love, or work with, an autistic person but just need more help in supporting them?

We’re commissioned by the NHS to offer free, online coaching sessions through Autism Central.

These sessions are delivered by our trained and supervised peer guides with lived or family experience.

The sessions offer a safe space to reflect on autistic wellbeing, family life and practical guidance, helping you feel heard, connected and navigate services.

Anyone living in England and supporting an autistic person of any age is eligible. 4, 8 or 10 consecutive sessions can be booked.

A new report from the Disabled Children’s Partnership and Kids, based on research with 520 disabled children and young people aged 11–25, shows how the SEND system is failing them, and what needs to change.

Disabled young people want the same ordinary things others take for granted: the right support to learn, opportunities to make friends, and a place where they feel they belong. But too often, that is not the reality. This report shares their experiences of failed support in the SEND system, alongside clear ideas for how to fix it.

Disabled young people share how the SEND system is failing them — and what must change. Read the report and respond before 18 May 2026.

📅 11-17 May 2026 📅

Mental Health Awareness Week is a national campaign led by the Mental Health Foundation, taking place from 11 to 17 May 2026! Each year, it brings people across the UK together to focus on improving mental health, raising awareness, and encouraging open conversations.💜

In Derbyshire, we are working to challenge the stigma that often leads to silence and to create safe spaces where people feel able to ask for help. Whether you are struggling with your mental health, alcohol or substance use, or both, it is important to recognise the role of support, empathy, and understanding in a persons recovery journey.

During Mental Health Awareness Week, reach out if you need help.
