East Meets West Open Call We are inviting you to submit existing photographic works and short films that broadly relate to the theme of heroes.

East Meets West is looking for emerging photographers and filmmakers who are based in the East or West Midlands, or have recently graduated from a Midlands university (in the past 2 years). This could be as straightforward as depicting the super heroics of costumed heroes or documenting simple or unnoticed acts of heroism that occur every day. Alternatively you could explore the darker facets of t
