🌍💻 CODE & CULTURE INITIATIVE 💻🌍

TES Community CIC is excited to invite children and families to our special Code & Culture Initiative on 16th May 2026!

This programme combines:
🪘 Yoruba language & culture
💻 Coding & digital skills

Children can choose to attend either:

🟢 Yoruba Class
⏰ 12PM – 2PM
For children aged 6–14 years

OR

🔵 Coding Class (Year 4 and above)
⏰ 3PM – 5PM

Early exposure to STEM creates lasting impact.

Through hands-on activities with Bee-Bots and Snap Circuits, young people explore robotics, build real working circuits, and test their ideas in a practical, engaging way.

These early experiences help develop technical confidence, analytical thinking, and collaboration, laying the foundations for future skills in coding, problem-solving, and innovation as they progress through life.

When children learn by doing, magic happens because education should be engaging, inclusive, and inspiring.

Our Bee-Bots and simple circuit build-up and testing session during the recent TES HOUSE HAF programme helped young people build logical thinking, confidence, and collaboration, all while having fun.

With support from Derby City Council and , our children explored robotics with Bee-Bots and got hands-on with Snap Circuits building real working circuits, testing ideas, and learning through play last December

So proud of their curiosity, teamwork, and confidence as they tried new challenges and solved problems together.

We also appreciate the contributions of STEM Learning Ambassadors
