🎨✨ You’re Invited to the Six Streets Arts Trail 2026! ✨🎨

Join us for a wonderful weekend of creativity, community, and inspiration at the Six Streets Arts Trail 2026 in Derby.

Explore the charming Six Streets neighbourhood as residents open their homes, gardens, churches, and community spaces, transforming them into temporary galleries showcasing the work of talented local artists and makers. Discover an exciting variety of painting, photography, ceramics, textiles, jewellery, mixed media, and much more.

There’s something for everyone to enjoy, with a lively programme of live music, performances, workshops, family activities, pop-up cafés, and the trail’s famous yarn-bombed trees bringing colour and fun to the streets.

Don’t miss the chance to encounter the mysterious Poetry Witch, who will be weaving words and a little magic throughout the weekend. See if you can find her!

ADVANCE NOTICE FOR THE

*JULY WALK*

This walk will be on *5th July at 1.30pm* and will be at Attenborough Nature Reserve. We will probably do a 4 mile walk, but there
ate various trails of 2-4 miles of which are pushchair and wheelchair friendly.
There’s also a café which is open until 5.30pm although I expect we’ll be in there a lot earlier than that!
*PLEASE NOTE* we will be meeting at the *LATER TIME of 1.30pm*

I will do a poll for this walk near the time, but just wanted to share details particularly as it is at a different time 😀

Plan your visit to Attenborough Nature Centre & Reserve

We had a great walk, just under 6 miles with some fantastic views of Carsington Water and continual great views in all directions.
It was warm and windy but stayed dry!!
It was lovely to welcome a new walker to the group.
Just a reminder that next month will be an afternoon walk at Attenborough nature reserve on Sunday July 5th leaving at 1.30pm 😀
