VRA Certification Ltd is a completely independent not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. We are not connected to the Vehicle Recyclers' Association.

Our purpose is to promote & manage the UK vehicle recycler certification scheme. We certify UK and Ireland-based vehicle recyclers to ensure they conform with the ‘UK Standard for Reclaimed Parts from End-Of-Life Vehicles’. This provides their customers with the confidence that the vehicle recycler operates legally and only markets quality assured reclaimed vehicle parts. We work with two certification bodies, who scrutinise a vehicle recycler’s policies and procedures, and audit each recycling site annually. This provides an independent, objective assessment of conformance.

NEW GUIDANCE ISSUED - GRADING ENGINES & TRANSMISSIONS
A new draft guidance document on grading engines & transmissions has today been issued by VRA Certification.
Vehicle recyclers & other relevant interested parties are welcome to provide constructive feedback by email.
The final version will be incorporated into the parts grading training scheme.
