Yesterday was an incredibly emotional day as our community came together to honour Charlie, a local 16-year-old whose loss has touched so many lives.

The balloon release, the sound of the bagpipes, and the sea of people gathered together created a moment that none of us will forget. It was a powerful reminder of the strength, compassion, and unity that exists within our community.

We are immensely proud of everyone who attended, paid their respects, shared memories, and supported one another. In the midst of heartbreak, Denny showed what community truly means.

Our thoughts remain with Charlie’s family, friends, classmates, and everyone affected by this tragic loss. The love and support shown yesterday demonstrated just how many lives Charlie touched during his 16 years.

Thank you to everyone who came together to make yesterday such a special tribute. Charlie will not be forgotten. 💙🎈

A Message from Denny District Community Group
We recently suffered the heartbreaking loss of a young boy from our community, Charlie Noble.
As a group, we carefully considered whether attending Denny Gala Day yesterday was the right thing to do. After much thought, we felt that bringing our community together was more important than ever. Rather than cancelling, we believed there was an opportunity for people to remember and honour Charlie's life.
This was an incredibly difficult day for our team. A special remembrance area overlooking the park was created where people could leave tributes, messages, flowers, and memories, or simply take a quiet moment to reflect and pay their respects. Like so many others, members of our team visited the area, and there were many tears shared throughout the day.
Our thoughts remain firmly with Charlie's family, friends, classmates, and everyone affected by this devastating loss.
We hope this space provided some comfort and allowed our community to come together in support, remembrance, and celebration of a young life taken far too soon.
Thank you to everyone who showed understanding, compassion, and kindness throughout the day. It reminded us just how strong and caring our community truly is.
Rest easy, Charlie. You will never be forgotten. ❤️

🌞🎉 WHO’S JOINING US THIS SATURDAY AT THE Denny Gala Day?! 🎉🌞
Denny District Community Group is SUPER excited to be supporting such a fantastic community event! 💛
Now… can we all just agree to keep that big yellow thing in the sky exactly where it is? 😎☀️
