On Monday at Toddler Sense Darlington we will become cowboys and cowgirls….yee ha!

We will make music 🎶 in the Last Chance Saloon, cook cowboy stew 🥘 for the annual shindig, have fun rounding up the fouls🐴 with lassos and try your luck at the Rodeo.

💜 Baby Ava was just 22 weeks old when she fundraised for the last Tommy's Sensathon in 2024. Ava, from Motherwell in Scotland was born 6 weeks early at exactly 34 weeks gestation weighing 3lbs 9oz. Mum Chloe developed atypical preeclampsia and had an emergency c-section.

“Sensathon was super engaging and very well organised. Marie, our class leader, puts her heart and soul into every session and this one was no exception. The activities were engaging and it was great seeing how far Ava has come since her first session. The Sensathon was high energy and all the children (and adults) loved it.

We chose to fundraise for Tommy’s as Ava was taking part in her Baby Sensory class and we are always happy to raise money for charity. When we looked into the work which Tommy’s does it felt fitting to raise funds and help towards the work they do as I had experienced complications in my own pregnancy and sadly have a few friends who have experienced the loss of a baby. We felt that any help we could provide towards funding to support research and families would go a long way.”
