We finally waved farewell to Loki — our longest Underdog and longest resident. 🐶
For a long time, Loki watched other dogs leave our doors with their yellow bag packed and their forever waiting for them.
But this time… it was Loki’s turn. 💛
During his stay with us, Loki has come such a long way. He’s aced his training, including vet visits and socialisation with other dogs, and has continued to show us just how much he has to offer. He’s enjoyed trips off-site, enrichment activities, celebrations for every season, and more snuggles with his carers than we could possibly count.
And although saying goodbye to a dog who has become such a huge part of our centre is incredibly bittersweet, there is nothing we could want more for him than to see him finally heading home. A place where he will continue to be loved, cared for and, most importantly, loved for all the little things that make him Loki. A place where he can make memories, enjoy all those special celebrations and be part of a family he can finally call his own. ❤️
And to make this moment even more special… today is Loki’s 8th birthday! 🎂🥳
