Saltire Adult Gymnastics at Meadowbank GC

Saltire Adult Gymnastics at Meadowbank GC Adult Gymnastics in Edinburgh and the surrounding area. Classes are held on a Friday evening from 6-9pm. Bronze level membership costs £19 per year.

Our Adults Gymnastics Class runs in partnership with Edinburgh University Gymnastics Club and is held at Meadowbank Gymnastics Club, Unit 32F Mayfield Industrial Estate, Dalkeith, EH22 4AD (Beside Ryze). The session is open to anyone aged 16 or older and the coaches will provide the opportunity for guidance and support to meet your gymnastics needs. The classes will be structured in recognition of

the current restrictions covering covid. Really means we rotate pieces as per the plan and when you leave that piece it has to be cleaned with the cleaning supplies by the apparatus and the cleaning list signed. All other procedures will be gone over at the beginning of the session. If attending this class you must pay and book in advance through our website here: www.saltireteamgym.com

Anyone attending the class must be a member of Scottish/British Gymnastics. The membership year runs from September to August. To become a member or renew your membership, please visit https://www.british-gymnastics.org/memberships

🌟Meet Rachel Ross, our dedicated Club Development Manager at Saltire TeamGym🌟

🤸Rachel brings over 20 years of experience in gymnastics, starting her journey at Dalkeith Gymnastics Club and witnessing the evolution of the club into what it is today, Saltire TeamGym. As the Club Development Manager, Rachel oversees the development of the club, from introducing new classes to organising holiday programs. She is committed to supporting both current and new volunteers and coaches, helping them achieve their goals and maximize their potential.

Team Gym Level 2
Team Gym Level 3 technical modules (floor, trampette, & tumble)

This will be held in the Dick McTaggart Regional Gymnastics Centre on April 7th 10:30 - 17:30.
This competition is open to all saltire adults.
We will be competing against our friends from the other Scottish unis as well as other associated clubs.

Beginner WAG (Women's Artistic Gymnastics): Competing Floor and Vault
Beginner MAG (Men's Artistic Gymnastics): Competing Floor and Vault
Intermediate WAG I: Competing maximum 3 out of 4 apparatus, best 2 scores count for all around. Slightly lower level intermediate.
Intermediate WAG II: Competing 3 out of the 4 apparatus. Slightly more advanced intermediate.
Intermediate MAG: Competing Floor, Vault, and one of P-bars or Rings
Advanced WAG: Competing any 3 out of 4 apparatuses. Includes skills up to a C in the COP and any extra skills listed in the rules.
Advanced MAG: Competing any 4 out of the 6 apparatuses. Includes skills up to a C in the COP and any extra skills listed in the rules.
Elite: Uses the Full COP and competes on all apparatus.
Acro!!!
Beginner and Intermediate balance and dynamic categories are available with any mix of gender pairings.
