Dalkeith Festival Dalkeith Festival (formerly Dalkeith Barbecue) takes places every year, on the first Saturday in August.

🎻🎤 Main stage Performances and Fancy Dress competition from 1pm💃🏼💃🏼

1pm - 4pm (£5 Wristbands available on the day cash payment only 💰)
🐴Ponie rides
🎨 Face Painting
🔵 Kids Inflatables
🤹🏼Magic Show

🎡Taylor’s of Edinburgh Funfair (Pay per ride)

🩷 Lots of Amazing stalls selling homemade crafts ,jewellery, Wax Melts , toys , sweets and much more 😃 please remember to bring cash 💰 💰

😃We're just one week away from this year's Dalkeith Festival on Saturday 1st August 2026😃
This year we will be adding a fancy dress competition for kids, teens and adults.
Strut your stuff for the judges on the main stage at 1:10PM.
There will be cash prizes for the winners. 🏅💰
You can also march in the parade or bring a decorated car 🚗
