Danderhall After School Club are excited to be looking for a practitioner/playworker to join their team.

The practitioner/playworker would support the club manager and work within a small team with the day to day running of Breakfast club, After school club and Holiday club.

Qualifications and experience would be an advantage but full training would be provided. We also offer support to gain a qualification in SVQ 3 Playwork.

We have some availability in our Holiday club on Friday 25th July. The main activity for this day is tie dying.(children to bring a piece of clothing to do this) Other activities that the club offers is games, arts and crafts, outdoor play. The practitioner/playworker would support the club manager and work within a small team with the day to day running of Breakfast club, After school club and Holiday club.

This post is for 30hrs per week.

Qualifications and experience would be an advantage but full training would be provided. We also offer support to gain a qualification in SVQ 3 Playwork.

Kris from Safe Building Services dropped in to visit us in the club with a kind donation of £300 for the Danderhall After School Club in June. This donation was used to purchase all resources needed for the Summer Club activities and contributed towards healthy snack choices. Thanks again to all the team at Safe Building Services for you continued support to our club.
