Denby Dale District Lions Denby Dale District Lions run a large number of fund-raising and social events throughout the year to which the whole community are warmly welcomed.

Denby Dale District Lions club plan and participate in a wide variety of service projects that meet the international goals of Lions International as well as the needs of our own community. Some of our most popular activities include beer festivals, charity auctions and nobody can ignore the arrival of our Santa's sleigh every Christmas to get you out of your homes and singing along with the carol

Out raffle generates a large percentage of our profits from the Scarecrow Trail therefore any prizes from local people or businesses help the amazing amount of money we can raise for local good causes.

What a great afternoon we had yesterday up at Cumberworth Football Club providing refreshments during their Cumberworth Cup competition!⚽️⚽️⚽️

We were kept busy all afternoon supplying thirsty players and their families with hot and cold drinks, beer, snacks and burgers and hotdogs from our always popular BBQ.🍔☕️🍺

It’s a great event and one that we were happy to support!👍

Denby Dale Lions will be conducting a leaflet Drop around Denby Dale and need your help.

The more hands (& feet) the easier the task.

We will be delivering leaflets and entry forms for this year's amazing Charity Scarecrow festival.

If you can please come and give us a hand (foot).

Meeting at The White Hart Denby Dale on Wednesday 20th May @ 18:30.

We are delighted to announce that this years Entry form and flyer has been kindly sponsored by Holden Smith Law

We will be conducting a leaflet drop around Denby Dale over the next few weeks but if you would like to print at home then right click on image and "save as" to your desk top and print.

You can also pick one up from The White Hart, Denby Dale. or Gordon & Frank's Coffee House

Entries need to be posted into the Scarecrow Post Box at The White Hart no later than 7th June.

And here is what you have all been waiting for......... Details of this year's Scarecrow Trail.

Get your thinking caps on... any food related Scarecrow can enter - a potato, a sunday roast, ice cream cone or even a pizza. YOUR IMAGINATION IS YOUR ONLY LIMIT.

We are delighted to announce that 50% of all profit from this year's event will go towards food contributions for The Skelmanthorpe community pantry in association with Denby Dale Centre.
