What a great way to spend a baking hot day, to sit in an air conditioned car taking 332kg of bottle tops to the recycling people in Portsmouth.
Only another 20 bags to go to the recyclers now - end of an era.

Lovely to be back in Eastbourne for the Tri-District (1120, 1130 & 1145) Conference 2023.
Interesting speakers from Rotary this afternoon ending with ex-snooker player Dennis Taylor.
Looking forward to the rest of the weekend , lots more wonderful speakers and excellent fellowship with the members from all 3 Districts .

Thirty five years ago, when Rotary promised the children of the world a healthy, polio free future, the disease affected 350,000 children a year in 125 endemic countries,often causing paralysis and even death. So far this year there have been just seven cases, in two countries. But polio anywhere is a threat to children everywhere. Let's make history and shrink this number to ZERO.
