Thank you, Crystal Palace! What a magical night we shared lighting up our community tree. You came, you sang, you mingled and jingled - a fabulous bunch of locals you are. And not a single one of us ended up on Santa’s naughty list!

If tonight left you buzzing, why not join the fun behind the scenes. We are already dreaming up next year’s extravaganza - the more hands, hearts and holiday spirit we have, the bigger and bolder we can make it. Just wait… we’ve got our sights set on a fully blinged-up Triangle for 2026!

🎄We are so close now! Our Christmas tree is standing tall, but it’s still waiting for one very special visitor. Tomorrow evening, Santa will swoop in to sprinkle a little Christmas magic and light up our festive tree. ✨ 🎅

So gather your voices, grab your brollies, and bring your friends and plenty of Christmas cheer. Let’s make the countdown to the big switch-on one to remember!

🎵 Live festive music from Crystal Palace Brass Band and the Welcome Choir, with refreshments available from local traders.

Do you fancy being one of Santa's little helpers?

The Light Up The Palace team of volunteers need other helpers to make sure the switch-on of the Christmas Tree lights goes smoothly.

When: Saturday 29 November
⏰ Time: 3:30pm–6:30pm (3 hours)
📍 Where: Crystal Palace Christmas Tree – top of Belvedere Road
Meet outside Blowing Dandelion

You'll be part of the stewarding team, helping to keep visitors safe and (if you're able) supporting with putting up the temporary road closure barriers.

Tomorrow night our Christmas 2025 Crowdfunder comes to a close, and we just want to say the biggest thank you to everyone who’s supported us - whether as an individual donor or local business. 💖

Your generosity means we can bring all our festive plans to life this year, as well as the restoration of our much-loved historic railings on Church Road, where our tree sits so proudly. We can even start dreaming and planning something extra special for Christmas 2026 - all ideas are welcome!🌟
