On Saturday 6 June, selected members from Croydon County were invited to Girlguiding Celebrates.

Girlguiding celebrates, which was held at Odeon Luxe in Leicester Square is an annual celebration where incredible volunteers get to walk the red carpet and be recognised for achieving a guiding award during 2025.

Dawn, Alison (both pictured) and Jennifer were nominated by parents/peers, whilst Bethany attended to celebrate achieving their Queen's Guide award.

They enjoyed an afternoon of music, performances by the South End Gang Show and some sneaky uniform and Big Gig reveals from the Chief Guide team.

Units from West Croydon and Central Croydon split across 7 teams, mixing with other organisations (Scouts, Fire Cadets, Air Cadets, Police Cadets, St John's Ambulance, CCF).

Girlguiding Croydon ran Chain reaction (Lead stage 4) which got the groups talking and deciding what was the best way to score the most points in the allocated time). Other activities including First Aid, Climbing, Archery, Memory activities and much much more.
