Healthcare is changing, but nobody should be left behind.

A new report has highlighted the pressure GPs are under and the challenges that can come when more services move online.

For many people, digital access makes life easier. But for others, not having internet access, the right equipment, or confidence using technology can make it harder to get the support they need.

This is why CSPA continues to campaign for older people and our members, making sure changes to health and care services are fair and inclusive.

We also believe stronger social care is key to helping people stay independent and easing pressure on the NHS.

Rachel Reeves’ tax freeze raises pensioner concerns.

As covered in the press today, Sally Tsoukaris has raised concerns as spokesperson for Later Life Ambitions, about the impact on pensioners as more are pulled into income tax.

“They shouldn’t now be dragged into paying more tax by stealth.”

As part of the LLA we’re continuing to campaign for tax thresholds to keep pace with inflation and a fairer system in retirement.
