Yesterday at UP, we marked the start of Engine Room, a new pilot workspace and mentoring programme created to help entrepreneurs turn clarity, confidence and momentum into business growth.

Engine Room gives selected founders access to professional workspace, six bookable hot desks, one-to-one mentoring and peer connection, creating a focused environment where they can build, collaborate and keep moving forward.

This first cohort brings together entrepreneurs who previously took part in the Orbit () Incubator through the Croydon Business Support Programme, delivered by UP and funded by Croydon Council.

A special thank you to the alumni who joined us: Andrew Prophet (.prophet), Genevieve Joseph (), Jo de Serrano (), Kat Olearczyk, Sasha Abrahams, Simon Turay () and Zoe Parker ().

The room was full of powerful stories: clearer direction, braver decisions, more confidence, more clients and a renewed belief in what is possible.

Engine Room officially begins next week.

This is what we love to see at UP.

Today, Yılmaz Tatar () , Founder & Product Developer of FlexAir Technologies and one of our office clients, showcased his prototype in the UP lounge.

It was a great opportunity for our community to discover the idea, the technology and the story behind it.

FlexAir is developing air purification technology designed to support cleaner and safer indoor spaces, from workplaces to healthcare and public environments.

At UP, our offices are more than a place to work. They are part of an environment where founders, ideas and businesses can be seen, shared and connected.
