Well the rain is dominating this week on our return after the holidays! We are solidly booked tomorrow so please don't turn up if you haven't booked already as we are unlikely to be able to fit you in.

If you are looking to join The Pantry, unfortunately we are not taking on new members at present or for the foreseeable future.

The sun is definitely getting his hat on for the Bank Holiday Weekend and the half-term holiday! We're closed next week and will re-open on Thursday 4th June. Have a great week!

If you are a Tesco shopper, please have a look at their latest campaign. If you buy two hygiene products from a range they will donate one similar product to InKind Direct - a charity that we use to buy very low cost hygeine products for The Pantry. Thanks!

We hope you're having a great Easter break and enjoying the school holidays. Just to remind you that we're closed this Thursday, but open again next week (9th). And there's a free Easter Egg hunt for the children this Good Friday at 2pm at the church!

This week marks our second birthday which seems unbelievable and we are truly greatful to our members and all those who have donated for your support. And a very big thankyou to our volunteers who have helped make this happen.

In the last two years our members have made over 2000 visits and we have supplied in excess of 25,000 items to them. Many of our members have told us about the huge difference The Pantry has made and how it has helped them.

We look forward to another year of helping and supporting!

Donations - we rely on your donations to help stock and fund The Pantry. If you would like to donate food items, there are boxes just inside the main doors of the church and on Sundays, a box at the front of stage.

Our needs for this week - 03/04/2026

Breakfast cereals (please no Bran Flakes or similar)
Fray Bentos pies, tinned meat.
Tomato Ketchup (under £2)
Tea & coffee - over £2 please
Cakes & desserts (ambient please)
Feminine hygiene products, especially incontinence products.
Peanut Butter, smooth or crunchy
Hot dogs
Tinned fruit
Ladies' deodorant
Cooking oil - one litre
olive oil - 500ml

And please, no more -

Soups
Cooking sauces of any kind
Baked beans or spaghetti
Pasta and pasta sauce
Noodles
Soaps, ladies' skin products, etc.

We are abundantly blessed with these and have no room to store any more!

Please note we do not supply any pet foods or accessories, items containing alcohol, any medications or any cleaning products containing bleach.

Happy New Year! Just a reminder that The Pantry reopens this coming Thursday so if you haven't booked, please get in touch asap! The normal church activities also restart this week, but please take care in this cold weather.

We have raised £478.82 with Easyfundraising - about half a month's food supply for people on low incomes and benefits. Your last minute Christmas shopping, your New Year sale purchases, summer holiday booking or insurance renewal could all help raise funds for us with very little effort. Our last day for The Pantry this year is this coming Thursday, 18th December and we will reopen on the 8th January.

Please don't make any donations into the boxes until the New Year as there won't be anyone to collect them, thanks.
