The Olojo Festival is an annual traditional celebration in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.
It’s a major Yoruba tradition that Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi once called a global celebration of Black heritage.
"Olojo" refers to "The Day of the First Dawn," marking humanity’s gratitude to Eludumare for creation.
Held every September or October, the festival honors Ogun Lakaiye, the Orisa of Iron. It remains one of the most significant events on the Ile-Ife cultural calendar.
