At the end of the spring term, our students celebrated Culture Day by proudly wearing cultural attire and clothing that reflected their heritage, while raising money for the incredible charity Lives Not Knives.

It was a fantastic occasion filled with learning, celebration, and community spirit, as students and the Sixth Form Team shared more about their backgrounds and traditions with one another.
Thanks to everyone involved, we raised an amazing £181 for a truly important cause! 💙

🧡 We're proud to be featured by Action for Race Equality in their latest spotlight blog: "Lives Not Knives: Breaking the Cycle of Exclusion, Violence and Limited Opportunity."

The article highlights our journey from a grassroots campaign started in 2007 to a youth-led charity working across London to prevent knife crime, serious youth violence and school exclusions. It also shines a light on the realities many young people face, including poverty, trauma, exclusion, and limited opportunities, and why early intervention and trusted support matter so much.

At Lives Not Knives, we believe prevention is about more than responding to violence. It's about creating safe spaces, building confidence, providing mentoring, and helping young people see a future beyond the challenges they face.

A huge thank you to Action for Race Equality and the UPLIFT Programme for sharing our story and helping amplify the voices of the young people and communities we support.

A huge thank you to The HarrodianSchool for having us at their First Give Final 🧡👏🧡

Our youth worker Constantine had the pleasure of being one of the judges and listening to the incredible presentations delivered by the pupils, who spoke passionately about causes close to their hearts and the importance of supporting charities making a difference in the community.

Harrodian has been a long-time supporter of Lives Not Knives, so it was amazing to be involved in such a positive event and also see other charities being recognised and supported for the important work they do.
A real reminder of the power young people have to create change when they’re given the platform and opportunity to use their voices 🙌
