At Friday's meeting of Weyside Lodge of MMM, an Official Visit by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, things took a turn into the unknown, when the Worshipful Master was asked to Call-off the Lodge.

Amidst a flurry of "What's happening?", Mrs Alison Rawlinson was admitted to the Lodgeroom, to be presented with her MBF Grand Patron award!

While she was visibly touched, and very surprised, the Lodge rightly applauded her achievement.

For those unaware, Alison has been making marmalade, which has been handed out in exchange for donations to the MBF... autumn chutney should be available this year, too.
