3 days to go and this time, we're heading back towards Europe. My Lithuanian colleague at work has mentioned Pink Soup to me before so finally I can get to taste it!

At the Pampisford Road Allotment Society Open Day we're having a mini food festival of our own.

Meet one of our plotholders who'll be making delicious Bangladeshi cuisine. Every year, their samosas sell out so you'd better be quick!

Attention pickleheads and preserve junkies. Our homemade fig & earl grey jam, pear apple and chilli chutney and Czar plum jam to name but a few varieties of our local and single variety preserves. Ask me where the figs came from and I'll show you the tree! You cannot get more local than that.

This year at Pampisford Road Allotment Society our Open Day theme is food diversity - we'll be serving up cuisine from the Caribbean, Bangladesh, Thailand and Central Europe among others. Come tickle your tastebuds next Sunday in South Croydon!
