✨ A proud moment for Ashburton Park ✨🌿

Today we unveiled the Ashburton Park Outdoor Gallery — celebrating the creativity and voice of our children and young people.

From over 100 applicants, 18 incredible children from Oasis Academy Shirley Park Primary were selected to have their work displayed for the whole community to enjoy. 🎨

But this was about more than just the final pieces. Along the way, the children immersed themselves in the park — exploring through nature is a powerful reminder of what happens when children and young people are given space to connect with nature, creativity, and each other.

Take a walk through the park and see it for yourself — this is their gallery, their voice, their story.

We’re expanding opportunities including mentoring, sports coaching, tutoring, gardening and food growing, youth drop-ins and trustee roles.

Our young people thrive when consistent adults show up, build trust and open doors to opportunity. You don’t need to be an expert, just willing to invest your time and care.

13th October (4–6pm), we’re throwing open the doors to our brand-new Oasis Community Space at Oasis Academy Arena — and you’re all invited! 💜
It’s going to be a brilliant afternoon for the whole family — with activities for children and young people, great conversation, and a free prize draw featuring a football signed by the Crystal Palace Men’s Team, tickets to see the Palace Women’s Team, Fruit Baskets, £150 voucher for the Palace Store ans a FA Cup Winners Champagne ⚽🎟️🍇🛒🍾
