Taylor-Made Dreams Bringing dreams to life for children with shorter lives How was Taylor-Made Dreams founded? What services does Taylor-Made Dreams provide?

Taylor-Made Dreams was set up by Suzi Mitchell in the memory of, and inspired by Taylor Mitchell, Suzi’s son, who sadly lost his courageous battle against a terminal condition on the 2nd of September 2011 at the age of 15. A fund was set up called Taylors Bucket of Wishes Association by two dear family friends, this fund enabled Taylor to tick off his own bucket list before he passed away. Taylor-

Made Dreams was then founded in 2014 (Charity registration number - 1158174) so that other children with life-limiting illnesses could fulfil their dreams. We were very privileged to have Taylor’s comic hero John Bishop come on board as our official patron. John has been an amazing patron, and just recently attended a lunch with some of our supporters to thank them for their donations. Taylor-Made Dreams’ main service is achieving bucket list wishes for our children. Bucket list wishes is not our only service, as we also provide: counselling and holistic therapy sessions for both the children and their immediate family, use of a wheelchair access vehicle, medical sheepskin fleeces, family portraits, silver dragonfly pendant keepsakes, medical travel grants for essential medical appointments, the Sibling Support Service & the technology loan library. Our objective is to provide ongoing support to enable children and their families to enjoy memorable experiences and spend time together when time is all too short. To increase our support across the South East, we have begun working with referral pathways to provide TMD medical sheepskins for their service users 💜

Together we can make an even bigger impact for families in the South-East.

Thank you to Donna and Beth from Demelza for stopping by to collect the first few sheepskins, with a total of 50 sheepskins heading to Demelza 🐑

Some medical sheepskins have already started making their way out to families, providing a comfortable resting place for even more children who need them.

Over the past month we have had some truly incredible challenges completed in support of Taylor-Made Dreams 💜

Tom Miller, Taylor's step-brother, raised an amazing £4794.28 through an ultra marathon 🏃‍♂️ Even with the sun beating down, and 100's of runners dropping out, he managed to finish 69th!

JGF Electrical Services took on a 100km coastal walk in just 24 hours, raising a fantastic £2,500, while the Crowborough Rotary Club held a fantastic golf day ⛳raising over £2,000.

And just the other day, Michael, Ben, Danny, Keith and Arran completed their 3 peaks cycling challenge. Not only did they tackle the 3 peaks, they cycled between each one! A happy memory made and captured through our Photo Experiences service 💜

Family portraits enable families like George's to capture beautiful photos, that can then be treasured and displayed at home.

It can be challenging to find time for creating positive memories, with the day to day of living with life-limiting illness. This is why it is so important to us that our services are flexible and accessible for all needs; enabling photo experiences in a place that is comfortable for our family, such as their home.

This September, TMD CEO Suzi Mitchell, will be braving the shave for '30 Days for Tay' 💇🏻‍♀️💜

Throughout the month of September, the 30 Days for Tay campaign hopes to raise £30,000 in what would have been Taylor's 30th year. The funds raised will be able to support a year's worth of Sibling Support Service and Parent Support Group in 2027!

"On the anniversary of Taylor's passing, the 2nd of September, I will be shaving my head to fundraise in his memory. I know he'd laugh at me, his mum for daring to do it!

We recently organised a dream car day for TMD Warrior Henley, with support from racing driver Max Merritt and Brands Hatch 🏎

Henley was able to enjoy the hospitality treatment whilst watching British Touring cars, with a VIP tour of the pit and one of the cars!

George was able to meet a lot of exotic animals, with a very special activity to top off the day .. feeding the penguins! 🐟

We're so glad to see the day helped to create such a big smile. Magical memories made for George and his family, enabled by the amazing support of our TMD community 💜

Make a difference everyday this September, in memory of what would have been Taylor’s 30th year, with our brand new campaign '30 Days for Tay' 💜

2026 would have been Taylor Mitchell’s, the inspiration behind Taylor-Made Dreams, 30th year. To acknowledge his life and legacy, this September we are holding a campaign throughout its 30 days, to raise £30,000!

These funds will enable us to provide an entire year’s worth of Sibling Support Service, as well as our first year of the new parent’s support group starting in 2027. £30,000 is a big target to reach, but it has a important goal that will help to achieve so much for our families 💜

How can you get involved? 💭

Whether you donate £30 or take on a challenge throughout the month, Every fundraiser in the month of September makes a difference. We're a few months out from September, so there's plenty of time to think of what challenge you want to take on!

The photo experiences service supports family portraits and fantasy photos, both services creating beautiful photos to display at home 🏡

One of our recent family portraits has just made its way to our TMD Warrior, thanks to the wonderful work of photographer Anthony Elvy. This includes both a digital library of the photos, as well as one special photo gifted on canvas.

It is incredibly important that every service we offer is accesible for all needs, which is why we work with both studio and home visit photographers, this way photoshoots are able to take place wherever it is most comfortable for the family 💜
