Another Misterton view - presume very early 1900's?

Keep meaning to do some 'then and now' pictures...

Despite being from a very different time it is still a very familiar Misterton viewpoint.

After the road closure at the railway bridge earlier in the week, we continue down Station Road away from Crewkerne and into Misterton and see some familiar buildings...

If anyone has any old (or oldish) photographs of the Station Road area please do share them - for instance of Station Hill Farm which is no more...

We hope all of our followers have a lovely autumnal weekend - October is upon us but still no news on the revised outline application for the 325 houses and flats on land off Station Road. This photograph is just south of the application site, which spans all of the way from the railway line up to the new junction to the Taylor Wimpey development.

Follow this page for updates on 25/02044/OUT... (and also a bit of Crewkerne Neighbourhood history, waffle, and the odd bit of relevant news sharing)...
