If you're at a loose end, this is a lovely event.

🌍✨ You are warmly invited to join us in a vibrant celebration that embraces all cultures, faiths, and festive lovers!

Come and enjoy a delightful afternoon filled with delicious food and unique shopping experiences. We invite you and your family to celebrate Eid ul Adha, a wonderful occasion to strengthen our community bonds.

While Eid events are often celebrated across England, we’ve noticed that such gatherings are less frequent in Crawley. Let’s make this event as successful as our last one! With the holiday coinciding with a bank holiday and the children’s half-term, it's the perfect opportunity to come together, enjoy the festivities, and support our local small businesses.

We can't wait to see you there and celebrate the spirit of unity and joy! 🎉

As many of you will know I did not stand for re-election to West Sussex County Council this time and so my term of office has now come to an end.

It has been a genuine privilege and a pleasure to serve the residents of Langley Green and Ifield East over the past five years.

I have always tried to support and represent residents fairly and while it was not always possible to resolve problems, I hope you felt your concerns were listened to and properly represented.

Your new County Councillor is Oliver Pickstock of Reform UK plc and I expect he will be easy to find on line - I hope you will contact him should you need assistance.

In the meantime, thank you once again for your support and for all the wonderful experiences.
I wish you all the very best for the future.

If you are fed up with weaponised flags and divisive politics and want to stop Reform UK plc from gaining a seat on our town council, there is only one way to vote. Labour.
Of course I would say that, but you don't have to believe me - check it out at this independent web site; https://stopreformuk.vote/local/crawley

Promoted by Alison Cornell on behalf of Crawley Labour Party, both Co 34 The Pasture, Crawley.

Stop Reform and the Tories in the UK Parliament, Local Elections, the Senedd, and the Scottish Parliament.

One of the most common responses I hear on the doorstep from people who are undecided on how to vote is; “but I’m not voting Reform.”
With that in mind, I thought it might be helpful to share a tactical voting website that shows how best to vote to prevent a Reform win.
I’ve entered Crawley and posted the screenshots here, but you can easily check for yourself.
Please think carefully about how you use your vote on Thursday.
These are challenging times, both globally and at home—but it’s hard to see how politics driven by division and hate, and backed by billionaire interests, will ever offer the answers we need.

I've lived in Crawley for most of my life - and we celebrate our cultural diversity - I for one don't want to see that change.

On Thursday 7 May vote for the only party that is truly on the side of Crawley residents. Vote for the only party on the side of working people and families.

Cllr Yasmin Khan is a brilliant hard working councillor and good friend, who has been subject to some horrible abusive comments from a certain quater during this election campaign.
This vile type of politics is corrosive, and if we want good people like Yasmine to step forward and work for us it needs to stop.
Many of you will know Yasmin as a tireless fundraiser and activist in our community and I really hope the people of Southgate will re-elect her.
If you have friends or family in Southgate, please encourage them because if she is not re-elected our town will have lost out.

Fly tipping is a disgrace - now, thanks to Labour, our councils will have the powers they need and the funding to tackle the problem.
