Our Creative Active Lives CIC fabulous family fun day is on TOMORROW! 197 tickets have gone!😳 But we have loads of indoor and outdoor space so it shouldn't be too overwhelming.

If you can't attend please do cancel your space so someone else can have it. We only put up 200 tickets and they might all go by tomorrow.

And Saturday we have our first Minecraft Nurture Group online via Zoom at 6pm. Its a super small group session designed to help young people build confidence, self esteem, make friends, and thrive with like minded young people. This session is led by our Digital Youth Worker Emma, who brings a wealth of experience in coaching young people, designing and delivering wellbeing interventions, alternative learning provisions and mental health support.

Our Upbeatz group has broken up for half term.

I absolutely LOVE these sessions! The young people are amazing. So full of creativity and enthusiasm. What I love most is that when we listen to each others beats - how much they hype each other up!

So much friendship in these sessions. The Zoom chat is frequently off topic and hilarious!

The group have called themselves the Melon gang? Or something? Melons are a thing any way.

Thank you so much to our tutor Marc Narrative who creates such a welcoming, inclusive, calm atmosphere and makes the sessions so fun and engaging .

🚨New for the teenagers at our in person events and Hub ! 🚨

We now have a PC Gaming Cafe at the Hub!
Ive got a PC cafe Steam license and will be building up our game library!

Massive multiplayer gaming coming up!

You can bring your own laptops and you’ll connect to our library as soon as you join our wifi

We have our own private Counter Strike 2 server with ALL skins unlocked so no temptations to spend money! Play normal Counter strike and Prop Hunt on our maps. We even have Minecraft. Map in counterstrike!

👾We have TWO new sessions starting in the next few weeks and they are open for booking right now over on the website! 👾

🤗We have been asked many times for the return of Saturday Club - here it is at last! Our lovely Saturday Online Minecraft Nurture Group is back from 6-7pm. This session costs £10 including tax and VAT. Spaces are limited to 8.

This session aims to:

 Build connection and belonging
 Develop confidence and communication skills
 Support emotional regulation and wellbeing
 Encourage teamwork and problem-solving
 Create a safe, manageable social experience
 Reduce pressure compared to larger group sessions

💻And we have a FREE Home Ed Online Code Club! This is a pilot course of 6 weeks, our first Code Club delivery by our wonderful volunteer Shaun. Shaun is an experienced software developer who has been volunteering in Minecraft Socials for over a year now!

Code Club is for ages 10-16, and is focused on coding in Python for Intermediates to Beginners in Python who may already be familiar with ideas such as sequences, variables, simple loops, or block-based coding. Computer required, not tablets.

We are a relaxed, calm low demand group - we are mostly introverts here and don’t go out a lot so if you want to meet other people your own age but also hate the thought of going out / socialising / having to do Things then this might be for you

This is for Sandwell families, as part of Sandwell's ⭐Festival of Free Play ⭐ where this May Half Term, families are invited to come together to celebrate play, creativity and community!

I want to share some feedback from our previous online holiday camps. I wasn't sure at first if I should do these. Would they be wanted, needed, would it be fun? 👇

From talking to parents and the young people themselves I thought yes! It could really help some young people. 🙌

🤩 He is absolutely loving it! I have never seen him take to a group so easily. Online Half Term Holiday Club feedback: He had the BEST time and is so excited. Thank you.

🤩 Like most neurodivergent kids, he really struggles with social situations and is so lonely and craving friends to play with. He is over the moon today went so well.

🤩 I just wanted to say thank you for doing the online camp today- X absolutely loved it! I swear he was more excited about this camp day than he was for Christmas! He has been buzzing all day long. It was so nice to hear the chatting. Truly, thank you for doing this- and for Mine Mania as well!

🤩Definitely- positive! Happier- he was buzzing! I think it was good nothing was too hard or anything to get stressed about- just excited. Yes. The day really lifted his mood. He was happy all day.

🤩His online sessions with Rachel always make him feel more confident, included and listened to. Also part of a little team of friends. The day was well run, friendly, fun and incredibly inclusive.

🤩This is a new and innovative way to reach out to young people who find standard in person clubs impossible to join. It opens up a feeling of belonging for isolated children and young people at home who so frequently feel left out.

Is your young person a Pokemon fan AND Home Ed? 👉 We need you! 👈 At our lovely home ed social for over 13s on Wednesdays one of our members loves all things Pokemon!

He’d love to meet other Pokefans to hang out, talk about Pokemon, bring your decks and have battles with!

We also have Minecraft LAN gaming, consoles, board games and lots more.

Parents stay (out of the way 😎) and chat or do arts or a craft

For ages 13-18 not younger ones allowed sorry, the teenagers requested a space for themselves so strictly no under 13s
