Pangaea Sculptors' Centre

Pangaea Sculptors' Centre A platform supporting contemporary sculptors and fostering excellence in fabrication.

Founded in 2013, PSC is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company that facilitates the production of innovative new sculpture and develops critical, cultural and educational programming around contemporary sculptural practice. We support practitioners and promote and enrich wider public engagement with this art form. Central to our ethos is that artists should be able to further their practice w

ithout the constraint caused by a lack of access to equipment, facilities and expertise. PSC is committed to providing essential opportunities, practical support and facilities for practitioners to enable the development of their practice. PSC supports artists and arts organisations alike, meeting the diverse needs of both domestic and overseas practitioners and other sculpture enthusiasts, including curators, collectors and commissioners.

Sculpt, play, imagine! Kids learn real 3D-making techniques in a joyful, supportive space — where creativity runs wild and every child is free to be an artist.

Natural Materials turns the studio into a hands-on material world, where children get messy as they touch, feel and explore, starting with the human hand and what has always been available to it — earth, fibre, plant matter and simple tools. Working with clay, straw, sand and bamboo, they mix, shape, bind and test, discovering how much can be made without plastics, kits or perfect finishes. Rooted in place and culture, the workshop draws on traditions from cob and mud brick to clay-and-lath structures, as children explore how people build with what’s available and where those materials come from.

Easter Workshops Recap 🐣

What an incredible few days at our Warwickshire Children’s Art & Sculpture Workshops!

From experimenting with scale and structure to building imaginative sculptural pieces, it was amazing to see so many young creatives explore, test ideas, and bring their visions to life. 🎨

A huge thank you to all the families who joined us - your energy, curiosity, and creativity made the workshops truly special.

We loved every moment and can’t wait to welcome you back for more hands-on making soon!

We had such a fantastic time at the recent Sculptural Assemblage Workshop as part of the Parkmore's Easter Fun Day!

It was wonderful to see so many people getting creative, exploring materials, building and sculpting. The workshop brought a brilliant mix of imagination, hands-on making, and community spirit - a perfect reflection of what the day was all about.

Thanks to .town.council for supporting us.

We’ve launched Pangaea EDUCATE

Yesterday we brought together artists, educators, industry and partners to share what we’ve been building — and what comes next.

This moment marks the launch of Pangaea EDUCATE
A new, connected approach to learning through sculpture.

Across the event, we shared work from our pilot programmes, heard from collaborators, and opened up the thinking behind a model designed for real schools, real places and real futures.

This isn’t a single programme.

It’s three connected strands:

→ 3D–5D Learning Revolution (schools)
→ Adventures in Material & Space (studio learning)
→ Artists' Practice Development Exchange (training + practice)

Together, they form a new ecosystem - connecting young people, artists and industry through making.

Thank you to everyone who has shaped this so far.

This is just the beginning.
