At our July meeting we voted on our favourite for the Shirley Pearson Trophy, which was awarded to the first work by Nicola.

Our meeting on Saturday at the Community Room at Saint Mary Magdalen’s starts at 2.15, we are having a sit and sew plus showing latest pieces of work. Everyone is welcome come and see what we do.

Just to remind all our fans, we have a meeting on Saturday where 3 of our members will be talking of how they started to sew, there will be lots of worked pieces and samples: usually it sparkes off discussion will all the group. So if you want to come and meet us this is a great opportunity to get to know us.

Inspiration. - that’s the theme of our next meeting on Saturday 21st March. Lynne is to lead the discussion on how we decide the form of our work: whether we have the start of a subject or to explore a technique, is colour or texture going to be important - all to be considered. If you want to join in with your views or a sample you have worked and want to explain your hopes, come join us we would love to meet.
