Here is our therapy dog Blake making one of his occasional appearances on social media.
As a younger dog he didn't manage to finish the guide dog training. Instead he's a part time therapy dog at Crow and we think he's fallen on his paws.
If you're visiting us and you like dogs give him a bit of fuss. If you don't like dogs or are allergic tell the person who answers the door and he'll step to one side. He's very good like that.

We take donations of second hand books in bulk.
Some of them go on sale in our Scrapstore. We sell some of them via apps to internet second hand book dealer.
The rest are sent to a commercial waste site for recycling.
e mail us at [email protected] to donate surplus books.

We close for a week starting on Monday August 24 for our annual summer shut down. Our recycling operations reopen on Tuesday September 1 and our Scrapstore reopens Monday September 7.
Older readers will remember when factories and warehouses across the Midlands had a summer shutdown for a fortnight while everyone went to the seaside. Crow is one of the few organisations still following the tradition.
We're closing for the week to make sure everyone gets chance to take their annual leave.

The tomato harvest is underway in our horticultural project. They always seem to taste so much nicer than shop tomatoes.

We had a brilliant day out on roller coasters and log flumes.
We took some of our staff, volunteers and service users on a summer day out to Drayton Manor Park. Roller coaster rides, a very splashy log flume and zoo animals were just right for some fun in the sunshine.
A big thank you to Coventry Building Society and Heart of England Community Foundation who helped make the trip possible.

11/08/2026

27/07/2026

We're taking our staff and volunteers on a day trip. We're all really excited about our day out but it means we'll be closed for the big day which is Monday August 10. We'll be back to normal the next day.
