To celebrate CCFC’s incredible promotion, your support helped fund a special tea party on our Care of the Elderly Ward.

Patients enjoyed cakes, refreshments, and the chance to join in the celebrations for the Sky Blues from the comfort of their hospital chairs.

Congratulations to Consultant Vascular Surgeon Devaraj Srinivasamurthy, who completed the epic Dragon Ride in South Wales yesterday. With more than 3,500 metres of climbing, this was an incredibly demanding endurance challenge to conquer in a single day.

Having successfully completed the ride last year, Mr. Srinivasamurthy is no stranger to pushing his limits in support of good causes. This year, he took on the challenge to lead by example for the next generation of vascular surgeons, demonstrating that with resilience, perseverance and determination, extraordinary goals can be achieved.

The funds raised will help provide affordable simulation training courses for vascular surgical trainees across the West Midlands, equipping them with the practical skills and confidence they need to deliver the highest standards of patient care.

Hadrian's Wall has once again provided the backdrop for an incredible fundraising challenge! A huge congratulations to Zoe and Lisa, who completed the epic feat of walking the entire 84-mile length of the wall to raise funds for the Oncology Ward.

Having lost their dad and with their friend Andy currently receiving treatment, Zoe and Lisa wanted to give something back to the team who cared for and supported their loved ones. Their determination and resilience throughout this challenge has been truly inspiring.

It's safe to say they smashed their £250 fundraising target, raising an amazing £1,635! Congratulations to you both on this fantastic achievement. Your efforts will make a real difference and will be greatly appreciated by everyone on the ward.

A huge congratulations to Caitlin and Elle for completing the 2026 Brighton Marathon.

Having only started running consistently in the last year, this marks an incredible achievement for them both.

Together, they raised an amazing £1,545 for the Stroke Therapy Department at UHCW, where Caitlin has worked for the past two years.
