Our fantastic friends at The Millpool are brewing up something special!☕🍰

Sunshine, smiles, and 10 miles☀️

A huge thank you to Neil Slevin, whose hard work and dedication made Walk the Walk possible. Thanks to Neil's efforts, a fantastic group of supporters came together for a 10-mile challenge from the Open Arms Pub in Cheylesmore to Kenilworth and back, all in support of UHCW Charity for our Oncology Fund.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who took part and donated, an amazing £1,934.34 was raised.

We're also grateful to everyone who helped make the day such a success. Every step taken will help support patients and families receiving care in the Arden Centre.

We are incredibly saddened to announce the passing of our Co-Chair, Nick Eastwood.

Nick was a supportive, wonderful man who brought a wealth of expertise, wisdom and understanding to UHCW Charity. He was an exceptional leader who always listened, offered considered, thoughtful advice and brought clarity to even the most difficult decisions.

But above all, Nick was a genuinely kind person, and the loss of his warmth and generosity will be deeply felt across UHCW Charity.

Our thoughts are with Nick’s family, friends and all those who knew and loved him at this difficult time.

For those who knew Nick, a celebration of his life will be held on Monday 24 August at 1pm.

A huge congratulations to Emilia, who recently completed the West Midlands Kids Fun Triathlon in support of UHCW Charity!🏃 🚴 🏊️

After developing Septic Arthritis and undergoing seven operations over the last few years, Emilia has shown extraordinary courage and determination. Taking on her first triathlon is a remarkable achievement and reflects the resilience and positivity she has shown throughout her journey.

Thanks to her amazing efforts, Emilia raised £1,229 for our Children's Department, helping to enhance care and support for young patients and their families.

Thank you Emilia for choosing to support our Children's Services and for inspiring us all.

On Saturday, four incredible fundraisers took a 90ft leap of faith as they abseiled down Coventry Cathedral to raise funds for departments across UHCW.

Chaplain Brian, Nicki, Gemma and Lydia all conquered their fears, completed the challenge, and together raised an amazing £1,700 to help make a difference for patients and their families.

A huge congratulations to our fantastic fundraisers and thank you for taking the leap for UHCW Charity!

Sweet treats and Disney-themed delights made for a fantastic Big Tea!🧁🏰

A huge thank you to everyone in the Neurosurgery team who helped make their Big Tea such a success.

From the amazing selection of homemade bakes and sweet treats to Kimberly's brilliant penguin cupcakes, there was plenty to enjoy!🐧

What a fantastic day at our Inflatable 5K last Saturday!☀️

With the sun shining and the temperature rising, our amazing supporters took on the course with determination, laughter, and plenty of team spirit. It was wonderful to see friends, family, and colleagues coming together, encouraging one another and giving it their all from start to finish.

The energy throughout the day was truly motivating, with participants tackling the obstacles in groups, helping each other along the way and still smiling at the finish line! Some even took on the daring 'Leap of Faith', proving they were up for every challenge the course had to offer.

Together, they have raised an incredible £2,705 so far, with Ward 35 contributing an amazing £1,235!

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, and supported from the sidelines. Your enthusiasm, effort, and generosity will have a lasting impact and help make a real difference💙
