Hi Everyone

New Public Open Space Behind The Grange: Meeting with Planning Officers and Councillors

We’re all invited to a meeting on TUESDAY 20 JANUARY 7 pm to 8 pm, where they will share with us the outline plans for this great addition to our community amenities.

The meeting venue is The Sphinx Sports Club on Sphinx Drive CV3 1WA. This is a bit of a stride away, but really only a 15/20-minute walk if you go down Glencoe Road from the walkthrough on Amelia Crescent, then turn left!

So do come along and bring all your ideas for how you would like this space to work for your family and neighbours.

NCP Residents Committee will deliver a letter from the Council to all NCP homes in the next few days confirming this meeting.

Hi Everyone

After many years lobbying for the ‘new public park’ that we were promised behind The Grange, we now have news that Planning, Parks and probably Highways officers will organise a public meeting with NCP residents in the new year.

The aim will be to discuss Council plans for the space alongside what NCP would really like to happen there.

So raise a glass at Christmas to the effectiveness of community action!

And give some thought to what you and your family want the park to be for you and your neighbours.

Expecting the meeting to be mid-January, we will keep you updated on venue, time and date.

📍Smoke Alarms 📍

We have been made aware the house smoke alarms installed by the developers over 10 years ago have a shelf life of 10 years.

There have been reports of alarms going off at odd times and being tricky to stop.

The safe solution is to have them replaced.
