Over the last few days, we have been happily creating paper flowers. We were asked to help prepare decorations for the Polish School, and being able to take part in this wonderful project has brought us great joy.

II Olympics Laxton Hall 🎉🏅

Another wonderful Olympics event has taken place at Laxton Hall!

Our residents took part in a variety of fun sporting activities with great enthusiasm and plenty of smiles. There were target ball throws, cup-pushing challenges, balloon tosses, tower building, giant skittles, and fishing games. The excitement was high, and every team competed with determination right to the very end.

However, the most important part of the day was not the competition itself, but the opportunity to have fun together, share laughter, and enjoy each other’s company. Throughout the day, there was plenty of cheering, encouragement, and a fantastic atmosphere.

A huge thank you to all our residents for taking part, to our staff for helping organise the event, and to Sister Magdalena for presenting the medals and trophies to our Olympians.

Congratulations to all participants – in our eyes, everyone was a winner! 🏆🥇

We are already looking forward to the III Laxton Hall Olympics!

Celebrating 100 Wonderful Years! 🎂🎉

On 2nd June, Laxton Hall had the honour of celebrating a truly remarkable occasion – Marysia’s 100th birthday! Reaching a century of life is an extraordinary milestone, and we were delighted to share this special day with her.

The atmosphere throughout the home was filled with excitement, joy, and heartfelt emotion. Residents and staff came together to celebrate this incredible achievement, creating a day full of smiles, warm wishes, laughter, and treasured memories.

We wish Marysia many more years of good health, happiness, and contentment. May every day continue to bring her comfort, joy, and the love of those around her.

This week at Laxton Hall we celebrated a beautiful and heartfelt Mother’s Day. ❤️

We spent time remembering our beloved mothers who are no longer with us. It was a special moment to reflect on motherhood, love, and all the precious memories that remain forever in our hearts.

We enjoyed this wonderful day outdoors, making the most of the fresh air and lovely weather. There was bingo, plenty of smiles and conversations, and a barbecue with delicious sausages.

Today was a wonderful and joyful day! ☀️😊

🏍️ We discovered even more motorcycle fans in our home today! 🏍️

Today’s visit brought so much joy, smiles, and wonderful memories to our residents. Talking about motorcycles, sharing stories of past rides, and having the chance to see the bikes up close was a real pleasure for everyone. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to the gentlemen who came to visit us today and took the time to share their passion with us. It was a truly special experience for our residents, filled with warmth, smiles, and a wonderful atmosphere. 🏍️✨

🏍️ Today we were able to make Mr Jan’s wish come true.

For a long time, Mr Jan had been telling us how much he would love to see and hear a motorcycle again. He has always been a big motorcycle fan, so today’s visit brought him so much joy.

Seeing the motorcycle, hearing the sound of the engine, and bringing back so many memories made it a truly special and emotional moment. ❤️

Moments like these remind us how important it is to listen to our residents’ wishes and help make them come true.

Today we had the pleasure of coming together in prayer during Holy Mass with the Scouts who are visiting our home. ❤️

It was a truly special time filled with reflection, warmth, and a beautiful sense of connection between generations. We would like to thank the Scouts for their presence, for sharing this time of prayer with us, and for the lovely atmosphere we created together.

Moments like these remind us how important togetherness, kindness, and being present for one another truly are. 🌿🙏

🌿 We’ve had a wonderful week at Laxton Hall! ☀️

Last week was filled with lovely moments and quality time together. We had the pleasure of taking a trip to Stamford, where our residents enjoyed delicious ice cream 🍦, a lovely cup of coffee ☕, and the relaxing atmosphere of this beautiful town.

We were also delighted to welcome a wonderful group of young people, and it was truly special spending time together. There were plenty of smiles, warm conversations, and meaningful moments that reminded us how valuable intergenerational connections can be 💛

A big thank you to everyone who made last week so special — full of kindness, laughter, and happy memories. These are the moments that make Laxton Hall feel so truly like home ❤️
