Autumn Harvest in Our Garden!

Today was a lovely day for a little autumn harvest in our garden! We picked beautiful pumpkins and tomatoes, the wonderful gifts of nature and the passing summer.

It brings us so much joy to see the fruits of our own garden! These simple moments remind us how much beauty and happiness nature brings into our lives.

1st October – The Beginning of the Month of the Rosary

Today, we came together to welcome October – a month especially dedicated to the Holy Rosary. Our residents gathered for prayer, entrusting their intentions to Our Lady.

It was a beautiful time of peace, reflection and togetherness.

May this special month bring everyone peace, hope and many blessings.

🍎🍏 Apple Day at Laxton Hall! 🍏🍎

What a wonderful day we had! ❤️ Today was filled with apples, smiles and lots of fun!

During our “Apple Journey Through the Orchard” game, our residents worked together to move along the board, answer questions, solve riddles, complete different tasks and take on some fun challenges. There was plenty of laughter, encouragement and wonderful team spirit throughout the game. 🍎🎲🌳

Of course, no Apple Day would be complete without something delicious – we finished our celebration by enjoying some lovely apple pie together. 🥧☕

It was such a joyful and enjoyable time. Sometimes all you need is a few apples, a good game and wonderful company to create very special moments together. ❤️🍏

Today was full of colour, creativity and smiles! 😊 International Dot Day reminded us that everyone is unique, with their own talents, memories and life story. Our residents enjoyed creating beautiful artwork inspired by colourful dots. 🎨❤️

Sometimes, something truly wonderful can begin with just one little dot! 🌈

Active and Smiling!

During our sports session, our residents worked on their fitness, coordination and reflexes. There was plenty of movement, positive energy and fun together.
Being active is not just about exercise – it’s also about joy, socialising and having a great time together!

Every day, we encourage our Residents to stay active 🌿

In our home, activity can take many different forms – what matters most is that it is suited to each Resident’s interests, abilities and wellbeing. ❤️

Sometimes it is gently winding colourful wool, at other times colouring beautiful birds 🐦🎨, and for those who prefer a quieter moment – listening to audiobooks through headphones 🎧📖.

Each of these activities offers something valuable: keeping hands and minds engaged, stimulating the senses, supporting concentration and relaxation, and simply providing an enjoyable way to spend time.

Because being active doesn’t always mean taking part in large group activities. Sometimes it is these small, everyday moments that make a big difference. 💛
