"Maybe some Journalists will come speak to the growing number of American and Canadian whistleblowers stateside laughing at the Dalradian farce and its continued failures, investors have had their eyes opened and this project is to phrase once many investors "Dead in the Water." Truth be told from some within Torys/Orion and Wheaton Precious Metals, they have distanced themselves from Dalradian Gold, particularly as Dalradian faces ongoing and needed significant operational challenges and financial failures in Northern Ireland. Many of us now are focusing on other projects and investments that promise better returns.
When speaking with those in the know and those now wanting more to know and if you know you know, Wheaton Precious Metals has made a positive strategic decision to distance itself from Dalradian Gold and its affiliates that includes government persons in countless departments, due to the latter's ongoing operational and financial difficulties in Northern Ireland. This shift reflects Wheaton's focus on more promising projects and investments, the current Situation of Dalradian Gold on the latest disasterous Public Inquiry April 2026, the operational challenges: Dalradian has been struggling for 17 years in Northern Ireland, facing significant and growing opposition from all quarters and are continuing in their failing to meet basic environmental standards.
Its common knowledge the financial status of Dalradian has not been able to achieve ANY of its financial goals, this was the main reason investors confidence was lost. Patrick Anderson hasn't been the best face on this companys profile and the region isn't suitable for the claims he had been making for over 2 decades. Truths that are surfacing from opposition has continued to prove this. Wheaton will redirect its resources towards other projects that offer better potential for returns.
Investment Strategy: The company aims to enhance its portfolio with high-margin, low-cost assets, moving away from underperforming investments like Dalradian and perhaps instead of more public money being wasted as seems to be the case, governments on the whole island and indeed the UK should embrace preserving such a beautiful landscape and capture the opportunity safer on tourism projects and close this down as its getting embarrassing for the powers that be."

The illusion of democracy and the lie that our politicians work for us continues. To all of those mainstream politicians who claim to be against the mining plans for the Sperrins get your finger out and actually do something.

We watch with growing dismay and deep frustration as political parties in this country continue to fail the people they claim to represent. When they are not openly cheerleading for a multinational mining company, they retreat behind a cloak of silence.

That silence was laid bare again today.
The PAC has issued the Statements of Case for yet another attempt to reinstate the public inquiry into the largest planning application in the history of this country — and not one political party has uttered a word. Not one comment. Not one question. Not one public concern.

This is not a minor issue. This is not fringe politics. This is about land, water, public health, democracy, and the futures of our children.
And once again, it is left to ordinary communities to stand in the gap and to do the work politicians refuse to do.

The true leadership in this country is not found in party offices or press releases. It is found in kitchens, community halls, hillsides, and homes. It is carried by working people who step into the vacuum left by political cowardice and choose to defend their land, their rights, and the next generation.

If this country is to protect itself from outside vultures and greed barons, it will not be because politicians led the way — it will be because the people did.

🚨 Big news in the fight against Dalradian 🚨

After years of pressure from Communities Against Mining (CAM) and local people, Fermanagh & Omagh Council has finally served enforcement notices on Dalradian at their Camcosy Road sites – including the controversial explosives compound.

This action is late, but it proves what relentless community pressure can achieve. 💪

👏 Huge thanks to every CAM member who kept pushing, kept challenging, and refused to let this slide. Your persistence forced the Council to act.

The fight isn’t over – Dalradian may appeal – but this is a major blow to their credibility during the live planning inquiry.

Well done Communities Against Mining. A lot of hard work behind the scenes from this group

Due to the pressure put on the department they have now requested that the four companies including Dalradian who recently were awarded mineral prospecting licences relinquish them by the end of today's business day.

This highlights once again the continuing failures of government departments and how it is left to groups like CAM and their supporters to monitor and hold these departments to account.

We are delighted with our successful members of CAM and their highlighting this which has brought about this successful challenge of the current ongoing failures.

Another success in our ongoing battle to protect the Sperrins and Mid-Ulster and all communities affected by the blight of these mining companies and their relentless greed.
