Helford River is part of Carrick District Scouts - it is so lovely to feel part of something bigger, and of course Scouting is so much bigger than just our little corner

A canoe expedition to Gweek, and 2 days camping, crabbing, seal sanctuary, games, a very competitive game of Bingo and a Gear Farm Pasty Co Pasty for one dinner.

Not sure how we're going to top that for the next Scout camp! 😆 Thank you to our amazing Scouts for being such good fun, and the volunteers for providing them with great adventures 🥰

While 2 patrols were out on the water in the sunshine, the other two patrols had a go at bottle rockets, archery and making delicious chai tea 😋

Maenporth was busy yesterday as 3 of the Falmouth scout groups met for our annual tide race. 60 slightly soggy Beavers, Cubs and Scouts had a great time racing to build their giant sandcastles against the incoming tide.

They did it! We couldn't be more proud of the Scouts and Volunteers who went on a two day paddle adventure this weekend.

The Scouts were tenacious, helpful and great fun from start to finish.
