Parkinson's Support NI held a very successful, and well attended Conference & Information Event in the Glenavon Hotel, Cookstown.
Consultant Mihalis Doumas, Senior Lecturer and Researcher, QUB spoke on All-Ireland research projects into various aspects of Parkinson's and Liam McCaffrey, Parkinson's Specialist Trainer Neuro Physiotherapist gave lots of information on the importance of movement and exercise for those with Parkinson's.
There was plenty of time for socialising and everyone enjoyed the lunch provided.
