Please Vote for The Coggeshall Bus below.
Since the pandemic, a lot of the previous passengers are now working from home quite frequently. As a consequence, even though the fare has increased (for the first time since 2011) in 2022 we are still down by about 50% of users.
There is a business initiative called Coggeshallcoin.co.uk who raise funds from local business and a donation is made to one of the Coggeshall Community Causes every 3 months. This month, Coggeshall Bus is one of 2 possible beneficiaries so please vote for us using the link below: We would be most grateful for your support.

Announcement re: Tonight's Bus Service:
I'm sorry to inform the group that whilst the bus was at Mercedes for a regular check, the mechanics have found an issue. A part needs replacing and they are unable to source it in time for this evening's service.
This is also too late to organise a replacement. Therefore,

Tonight's service has been cancelled.

Please inform anyone you know who uses the bus but may not be on this group.
We hope to be back up and running on Monday morning but please watch this space.
Thank you in advance for your understanding, we will always put the safety of passengers first.

17th April 2026
Call for new volunteers to drive the community bus:

Our community bus relies solely on volunteers. There is a large band of enthusiastic drivers but a few more people are needed to go on the rota to spread the load. It is great fun and a good way of meeting people.
So, why not give it a try even if you can only do it occasionally. We would love to hear from you either by email or you can call:
Email: [email protected]
Phone: 01376 561904
Thank you.

Update Tuesday 17th February 2026:
The Gravel - update.
Our service this evening (Tuesday) will run to our normal route.
Tomorrow our morning and evening services will run to our normal route, although it is likely that the 09:14 service from Kelvedon station will have to come via the Feering road.
We are advised that the work at The Gravel will be completed tomorrow, so our service on Thursday will be unaffected.
Thank you for your patience.

11th Feb 2026:Announcement

CHANGE TO OUR SERVICE NEXT WEEK
16TH – 19TH FEBRUARY

The Gravel will be closed for most of next week, meaning that entry to the town centre via that route will be suspended.

On these days, we will run a shuttle service to Kelvedon station from Abbey Lane (off Bridge Street). We consider this to be the most workable and safe solution.

We will do our best to operate in line with our normal morning and evening timetables, albeit over this shorter route.

We appreciate that passengers will need to walk up to Abbey Lane and to set out a little earlier to reach the bus in time (nb Market Hill to Abbey Lane takes, around, 5 minutes). We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
