Colchester Round Table 367 A Colchester based social club for men aged between 18 & 45. B**rs, currys, sports, activities and fundraising for the good of the Colchester community.

Colchester Round Table 367 is a social group which is also a registered charity. Our club members are men who live in Colchester and its surrounding area and who are aged between 18-45. We meet up to two times a month for social activities and for occasional charitable fund raising activities. We are part of a national network of similar groups. On the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month we meet for activities like:

- Archery
- Go Karting
- Gliding
- Canoeing
- B**r and curry nights
- Bowling

All the type of events you need a group of mates to do! We also meet for a social night out on the first Friday of every month in Colchester town centre. The cool crisp la**rs tend to flow, as does the banter. These evenings are normally a great way to end the working week and an even better start to the weekend. Colchester Round Table 367 raises money for local charitable causes in Colchester. We also organise the Christmas collections when we visit different parts of Colchester each evening with Santa himself, a sleigh and Christmas music. We all joined Colchester Round Table 367 because we wanted to try new sports and activities and meet a group of like minded people who want enrich their lives as well as help the community. 🍔 Annual Chairman's BBQ – Done and Dusted!

Colchester Round Table 367 rolled up the sleeves, fired up the grills and got stuck into another cracking Chairman's BBQ. Burgers flipped (mostly by people who insisted they were "professionals"), a few dodgy jokes told, and enough laughs to make the neighbours wonder what on earth was going on.

Good food, good pints, and even better company – proper Table spirit on full display.

Mr Apples, the chocolate hob nob and marshmallow sandwiches went down a treat!

A great evening for Colchester Round Table 367 climbing the iconic Jumbo Water Tower!

After tackling all 157 steps, we were rewarded with fantastic views across Colchester and the chance to appreciate one of the town’s most important heritage landmarks.

Congratulations to Stephen Rampton on being appointed as Chair of Colchester Round Table 367!

We have no doubt Stephen will bring real energy and purpose to the role, building on everything the group has achieved and finding new ways to support local charitable causes while strengthening the bonds between our members.

A big congratulations also to Dilesh Patel on his appointment as Vice Chairman, and to John Appleby on being reappointed as President.

And a well-deserved thank you to Oliver Sadler, who has handed over the reins after a brilliant year as Chairman. Oliver leaves the group in great shape, and that is no small thing.

The new committee is in place, a strong calendar of social events is already lined up, and plans for Santa's Sleigh 2026 are well underway. It is shaping up to be a great year.

To everyone who has supported Colchester Round Table 367 so far, thank you. We look forward to continuing to serve the Colchester community and making a real difference where it counts.

Thirteen thousand reasons to be proud!

Last Thursday we celebrated an amazing afternoon handing out cheques to deserving local charities at our cheque presentation ceremony at Specsavers on Long Wyre Street.

The event was attended by The Lord Mayor of Colchester, the Chair of Colchester Round Table 367, staff from Specsavers - our headline sponsor - as well as some of the amazing businesses who sponsored our evening collections and - importantly - the charities who will benefit from the contributions of the amazing residents of Colchester.

We were delighted to present cheques worth nearly £13,500 to local charities, thanks to the generosity of everyone who sponsored or donated during our December Santa Sleigh collections.

Big announcement coming soon…

We’re looking forward to our upcoming Charity Cheque Presentation Event, celebrating the incredible generosity shown by residents of Colchester throughout our Christmas Santa Sleigh collections.

The event will be held in Specsavers on Long Wyre Street on Thursday 5th February from 1pm – 2.30pm, and be attended by the Right Worshipful Lord Mayor of Colchester.

They will be joined by the team from Specsavers, our headline sponsor, the amazing businesses who both made donations and brought out teams of support on the night, and the fantastic local charities receiving cheques.

This event is an opportunity to recognise the collective effort of businesses, volunteers, and the community who have come together to make a real difference during the festive season.

Recently, the gents of Colchester Round Table 367 descended upon the Lexden Crown, and we're pleased to report the restaurant is still standing! 🍽️😄

From the festive paper crowns (worn with pride by grown men) to the excellent food and even better company, it was a proper Christmas celebration. Special thanks to the Lexden Crown for putting up with our festive cheer and keeping the drinks flowing! 🍻
