Welcome to the 12th Colchester Sea Scout Group—a vibrant gathering of enthusiastic individuals eager to dive into many different adventures. We're always happy to welcome young people aged 6-14 to join us at Beavers (6-8), Cubs (8-10) or Sea Scouts (10-14) and make friends, have fun and develop . We also welcome adult volunteers who'd like to get involved and help support our brilliant young people.

Today is Shrove Tuesday. It's the final day of Shrovetide and the last stop before Lent begins tomorrow with Ash Wednesday. Traditionally, it’s a day to use up rich ingredients like eggs, milk, sugar, and butter, which is why it’s also known as Pancake Day 🥞

Join us for a spectacular day celebrating British comics, military art, and pop culture — all in support of the 12th Colchester Sea Scouts.

On behalf of all UK Scouts, we send our sincere condolences to our Joint President, HRH The Duke of Kent, on the news that HRH The Duchess of Kent has passed away. She was a great friend and champion of young people. We are thinking of The Duke and The Royal Family at this sad time.
