Don't worry, we'll be back open on Tuesday with some fresh bakes, and warm coffee.

🌸 Volunteer Appreciation – Meet Luca! 💕

This week at The Hollyhock Café, we’re celebrating the wonderful Luca! 🥰

Luca is our fun, bubbly ray of sunshine who brings so much positivity and enthusiasm to the team. She’s always happy to lend a helping hand, supports those around her, and is a real team player. 💗

When she’s not busy spreading smiles, Luca loves getting creative in the kitchen as a keen baker, experimenting with new flavours and trying out exciting ideas! 🧁🍰 She’s also working hard on her Graphic Design course at college, developing her creative talents and skills. 🎨✨

We’re so grateful to have Luca as part of The Hollyhock Café family. Thank you, Luca, for all your hard work, kindness, and the lovely energy you bring to the café. Keep being your fabulous self! 🌷💕

🌟 Appreciation Post for Leona! 🌟

We’re so proud of Leona and the progress she continues to make! 💛

Leona works wonderfully with all our volunteers and the Team Hollyhock, always showing a positive attitude and a willingness to get involved.

This week, Leona took another exciting step in her journey by starting her Hospitality Supervisor Apprenticeship 🎓✨. We’re so happy to see her developing her skills and growing in confidence.

Today, Leona put her baking skills into practice and baked a delicious jammy coconut cake 🥥🍰 with just a little support. What a fantastic achievement!

Well done, Leona — we can’t wait to see where your hard work and dedication take you! 🌟👏

✨ What a lovely first night at our new Craft Club! ✨

Last night we gathered for our very first session, and it was such a relaxed, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It was wonderful to see everyone getting creative, chatting, sharing ideas and simply enjoying some time together. 🧶🎨

There was a brilliant mix of crafts happening around the room — crochet, Indian block printing, diamond art, watercolours, sewing, lino cutting and colouring. Something for everyone!

It was so lovely to see people trying something new, picking up old hobbies and enjoying the simple pleasure of making things together.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make our first evening so special. 💕 We’re already looking forward to the next one!
