Enjoy creative writing? Or maybe you've always wanted to give it a go.

This poem was written during one of our Creative Writing Workshops, showing what can happen when you give yourself the time and space to be creative.

Our workshops are relaxed, welcoming, and open to everyone. There's no pressure, no experience needed, just a chance to write, share ideas, build confidence, and enjoy good company.

Join us on Thursday and see where your imagination takes you.

6.30-8.30pm, Forgewood Community Centre, Motherwell.

This World Mental Health Day, remember that support can look different for everyone.

Sometimes it’s a conversation. Sometimes it’s music, laughter, creativity, or simply spending time with people who understand.

At Fool On, our free workshops offer a welcoming space to connect, express yourself and enjoy the performing arts together.

Check in on someone this week, a small message can make a big difference.

We’re looking for people who’d be interested in joining new band sessions at our Coatbridge music studio and helping us create a band from the ground up.

You don’t need any previous experience playing in a band or making music with other people, but you should already be able to play your instrument or sing. Whether you play guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, sing or something else, the aim is to make music together, meet people, build confidence and support your mental health in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Sessions are planned for Tuesday evenings and Wednesday afternoons (you choose when you can come). The start date is still to be confirmed.

If you’d be interested in joining the band, get in touch and register your interest: [email protected].
