🍓 A jam-packed thank you!

A huge thank you to our wonderful Trustee, Diane, who spent her time making a fantastic and delicious selection of homemade jams, marmalades and chutneys to sell at the Nailsea Community Market on Saturday.

We’re delighted that her hard work raised an amazing £222 for Springboard! Thanks to everyone who bought a jar or two!

We are thrilled to hear that Diane is already looking forward to taking another stall at the next Christmas Fair on Saturday 7th November at the Scotch Horn Leisure Centre

A great day at the Early Years SEND Roadshow in Bristol!

On Friday, members of our team had the opportunity to share some of Springboard’s experience at the Best Practice Network Early Years SEND Roadshow.

We delivered two workshops on ‘The Sensory Side of Behaviour’, looking at what children’s behaviour might be communicating about their sensory needs and sharing practical ideas that early years practitioners can take back to their settings and use every day.

It was also a wonderful opportunity to meet, learn from and share ideas with others who are passionate about getting inclusion right for our younger children and to hear from colleagues across the early years SEND sector.

A big thank you to everyone who joined our sessions, asked questions and shared their experiences. We always learn so much from these conversations too! It was a lovely day of sharing, learning and working together to help young children with SEND thrive. 💙

💙 A huge thank you to our wonderful friends at Hays Travel Weston Super Mare

Earlier this year, their local team put time and energy into fundraising for Springboard, and they’ve continued to go the extra mile by visiting our Weston setting to gift the children an amazing array of fabulous sensory toys. 🥰

And there was another lovely surprise this new academic year! Hays Travel's head office match-funded everything they raised, bringing their total donation to an incredible £357.82!

We’re so grateful for the time, effort and enthusiasm the local team has put into supporting Springboard, and to their head office for generously matching their fundraising.

Thank you for continuing to support our children and families and for being such fantastic friends of Springboard.

We are delighted to share that we have received an incredible grant for £19,760 from The National Lottery Awards for All programme from Sept 26 – August 27.

The funding will be allocated to our Family Support Service for parents/carers of children aged birth to five with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Our project was made possible thanks to players and we are truly thankful for your support. 💙

Looking ahead together...

We had a really positive and productive Leadership & Trustee meeting last week. It was a great opportunity to reflect, share ideas and look ahead to an exciting future for Springboard.

A huge thank you to our Trustees and Leadership Team for giving their time, energy and expertise. We’re incredibly grateful for the commitment they bring to Springboard and to the children and families we support.

We’d also like to say a big thank you to TOUT'S - Passionate About Food Cleeve for welcoming us into your fantastic new meeting space. It was a brilliant venue, professional, very comfortable and wonderfully flexible for our needs.

We’re excited about what lies ahead and very grateful to everyone who helps us continue moving Springboard forward. Here's to the next 40 years! 💙
