Goodlives had the honour of attending the NHS Awards this week and what a night! 🌟
We've been proud to play our part in the reusable theatre hats initiative alongside the brilliant team at North Cumbria Integrated Care, and seeing this project recognised on a national stage meant the world to us.
Finalists. That's no small thing. The work Ingrid, Ludger, and the wider team have put into this reducing waste, improving lives, and championing inclusion deserves every bit of recognition it gets. We are SO proud. 🏆🧢

This week we celebrated some of our wonderful volunteers with a small gift and a simple message: "Thank you for helping Goodlives grow." 🌱

While the plants may continue to grow over time, the impact our volunteers make is already immeasurable. Through your generosity, compassion, and dedication, you help create opportunities, friendships, confidence, and brighter futures for so many people.

And while Volunteers Week shines a spotlight on our volunteers, we'd also like to thank everyone who supports Goodlives throughout the year. Every act of kindness, encouragement, partnership, donation, and support helps us continue to grow and make a difference. 💙

Last week, we were delighted to support the Creating Careers in Cumbria programme.

As part of their learning journey, participants prepared a delicious Mediterranean chicken dish, accompanied by homemade sweet potato wedges and homemade coleslaw. The meal was enjoyed by all and provided a fantastic opportunity to develop practical skills, teamwork and confidence.

Well done to everyone involved! 👏
