This is your sign NOT to hatch if you’re not willing or able to keep your boys!

This weekend we were asked to help these young boys who were unwanted after a school hatching project. (Schools take note - these are living animals, not toys!) So meet our new residents, Mars, Bounty, Twix & Snickers who will all be looking for their own homes in a couple of months time. But for now they’re safe here!

If you don’t want cockerels - don’t hatch!

1 hen from this weekends caged girls and 2 hens from our April rehome who have both recovered from prolapses! Currently only the caged girl is laying.

2️⃣.7️⃣5️⃣ minimum donation per hen and home check required. Please get in touch if you’d like to offer these lovely girls a home!

As tomorrows hens have been in cages their whole lives, they have very long nails due to not being able to file them naturally by scratching.

They will naturally file down with time, but we will be checking every hen over, and trimming any excessively long nails, to give the girls a helping hand and make sure they’re comfortable.

For this reason, we may take a little longer than usual, so please bare with us - we will get your lovely hens to you as soon as we can!
