It's UK Parliament Week, so tonight our Beavers split into Parties and debated on a range of Scouting activities before taking a vote to decide what the group would go with and see if the different party sizes impacted the votes!

Great work by Yellow Party tonight who, with only 3 members, managed to get 9 votes for their proposals for a treasure hunt activity!

We're currently gauging interest in starting a Scout section for young people aged 10½ to 14 and we’d love to hear from you!

Whether you're a young person looking for adventure, or an adult who’d like to support and inspire the next generation, this could be a fantastic opportunity to get involved.

We’re looking for:
👦👧 Young people excited to try new things, make friends, and have fun.
🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ Volunteers who can help run and support the section. No experience needed, just enthusiasm!

A few weeks ago our Squirrels, Beavers and Cubs got a tour behind the scenes at Garstang Fire Station.

A big thank you to all the team there for taking the time to speak to our Scouts about all the great work you do in the community, show them around the station and engine and let them try out some of the kit! Maybe some future fire fighters amongst them? 👨‍🚒 👩‍🚒 🚒
