CELEBRATING THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL CHILD

Today, we shine a light on the incredible potential of girls around the world, especially in countries where they face significant barriers to equality. In Guinea, where literacy and school completion rates are low, we're proud to have created a level playing field where girls can thrive.

🚀By providing period-friendly spaces and reusable menstrual health kits, we've seen girls' grades, attendance, and completion rates soar to match their male peers!

💪 This year, our K**e team has taken their programme to three new communities, empowering 150 young people with 3 days of training in sexual and reproductive health. These Ambassadors will now share their knowledge with their communities, creating a ripple effect of positive change!

EDUCATION DIGITY COMMUNITY
Our kits deliver to more - they benefit those who produce them as well as those who use them.

Every reuseable kit we gift is made in Conakry by our sewing team.

Ruth is our lead - a mother at the school - the regular work helps her educate her son and have a decent monthly income.

Memuna completed her education at CRS two years ago but couldn't find employment. K**e took her on as an apprentice and she can now produce kits herself is responsible for the upkeep of our business data and joins in with education sessions.

Hissatou was an FCRS scholar, then a CAST student and later a CAST intern. Through education, she discovered her talent for digital design. She has completed courses with Orange Guinea and worked with other young people to develop digital solutions to local problems.

Today, she is building a career in digital design — through marriage, pregnancy and childbirth.

Her family can see the value of her work. Her income makes a substantial contribution to the household. Education has given Hissatou dignity, options and a brighter future.
