Thanks to everyone who's used the hall this year and to all who came down this evening to help us celebrate the last of the 2025 Helmdon Advent windows - what a great crowd.

ADVENT WINDOWS
Just a quick reminder that the final advent window of 2025 will be unveiled at the Reading Room tomorrow at 16:30. Complimentary mince pies and mulled wine on offer from 16:00 inside before the event. We'd love to see as many of you as can join us.

TEA TOWELS

Please can we request that anyone who may have kindly taken tea towels from the Reading Room to launder after an event, larder or cafe return them to the Reading Room kitchens. We used to have 4 full boxes of tea towels, we now only have 2 boxes!

Please come and join us at the Reading Room on the 24th December to watch the unveiling of the final advent window of the year. We'll be putting on compiimentary mulled wine and mince pies inside from 16:00 with the window being revealed at 16:30. See you there! 🌲🌲🌲

This Sunday 2nd November, BrightRise Photography (Chris Mount) will be hosting a free to all, open house photo portrait event.

Drop in any time between 11:00 and 16:00, have a mini photo shoot, and receive a complimentary 9"x6" print of one of your pictures (sent via post after the event).

Whether you're a budding musician looking for a decent profile picture, a dancer looking for a classic portrait, a body builder who wants to show off their commitment, a parent who wants a better school picture or just curious, you won't be disappointed. And please do bring your own outfits and props!
