Don't forget we all have access so some great sessions

As we head towards Easter I have lots of fun planned in March at Via. We will continue the learn to crochet course with joins and edges and complete the top down jumper. We will also work on a Spring Wreath in crochet. For drawers we have drawing club and journalling and dotting is returning with some Easter themed cards. Lots to keep us busy 🧶 🐣

Last night it was our final get together of the year.

We welcomed Clare from Crafty Pink Giraffe for a fun evening of decoupage with lots of laughs along the way. We all left with our own little decoupages gift boxes.

Many other WI groups are knitting/crocheting Caps for Courage. Lets see if we can contribute, anyone in our group knitter or sewer?

Are you part of a Women’s Institute group that loves to sew, knit, crochet, or craft for a cause?

We’d love to invite your group to join the Caps of Courage project, a volunteer-led initiative supported by Lions Clubs International, creating handmade hats and patchwork quilts for children and young people undergoing cancer treatment across the UK. 💛

Every soft cap and quilt we donate brings warmth, comfort, and a sense of hope during a very difficult time in a young person’s life.

👒 How your WI group can help:
✅ Knit, sew or crochet hats
✅ Make child-sized patchwork quilts
✅ Share our project with others
✅ Help label, package and spread the word

We can even supply some fabric if your group would like to get involved but needs materials to get started.
