Our Brownies have been busy tonight exploring what it would be like to do tasks with astronaut hands! They then did a S.T.O.P activity, learning what to do if they got themselves in danger whilst on an outing! Finally, they began preparing for our Remembrance service by decorating some poppies with tissue paper! Well done girls 😀

A reminder that it is HALF TERM next week! See everyone on 4th November!

Tonight our girls did another space themed activity, sorting out the puzzles of planets into order from the sun!

Then our older Brownies headed off to a taster session at Hollinshead Street Guides which we hope they have enjoyed!

Meanwhile, the rest of the Brownies had a foot pamper and played some games for the rest of the evening 😀

What an exciting evening!!

Our girls finished their Space interest badge through making a pinhole camera and a telescope! The girls used their telescopes to hunt down the planets code and were all successful!

We finished the evening with 6 of our new Brownies being enrolled! It was a very proud moment for our unit seeing so many girls being enrolled together!

Well done girls 😀

Our Brownies got put through their paces tonight doing some astronaut training! It consisted of an obstacle fitness test, composing a menu for their space craft, and making an astronaut suit! All girls passed with flying colours and we look forward to hearing how they get on as qualified astronauts 👩‍🚀

We had a busy day yesterday! Our Brownies did lots of crafts in the morning before going on a River Walk! We did get caught in the rain so got a bit soggy! When back the girls played space games, watched some films and enjoyed a chippy tea! We then had a board games evening and hot chocolate for supper 😃
